Twins in the Games

9 February

Speedskaters Michel and Ronald Mulder are aiming to become the second twins after alpine skiers Phil and Steven Mahre of the United States to win an Olympic medal in the same individual event at the same Winter Games.

The 27-year-olds compete in the men's 500m at the Adler Arena on Monday.

The Mahre twins won gold and silver in the slalom in 1984.
