GeneralSABOTAGED
He was the target of sabotage at the 2011 World Team Championships in Warsaw, Poland. During the first lap of the 5000m relay, he realised that one of his blades was broken. US skater Simon Cho later admitted to tampering with Jean's skate, as the two teams shared a locker room at the event. "You never want to think that this could happen. We all like to think we have the cleanest possible sport, sure it's disappointing to find out my doubts were founded, but you can't erase the past," Jean said. (theglobeandmail.com, 21 Sep 2012)
