She had hoped to qualify for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, but suffered a broken ankle in October 2009. Despite this, she only missed being selected for the Olympic team by one position. She attended the Games as an alternate and a forerunner to test the halfpipe before the competition.
